I never liked crossovers between entirely different characters fro comic books, most of the Superman vs Spiderman or Batman vs The Punisher stuff were boring, predictable and well, did I mention boring? This though, is an entirely different story, a book where Alan Moore’s most famous creations meet in new stories written by himself, it should be at least interesting!

Coming up on May Wild Worlds will be a new title combining characters by Moore’s previous works with Wildstorm and others. In this first attempt the story will include the WildCats against Spawn (if he manages to create an interesting Spawn story after all this time of same and same by Image it will be a miracle), a story about Majestic, an appearance of Deathblow (who returned with his new ongoing series in Wildstorm a few months ago), Voodoo and others not yet announced.

My belief that this might be a good book is based on Alan Moore and only him, only the idea of Spawn speaking in capital, outlined letters about how the unfair fate midjudged him while striking the Spartan with his chains, nah, it’s not for me. is also a character with big potential I never came to really like, I hope this will be a new opening for the character, anyway if anyone can give him depth that’s Moore. It still looks like a risk for an acclaimed artist with few (if not none) mistakes in his bibliography but I guess we’ll find out soon enough if it was worth it!
